Random stuff from the brain of a crazy person!

I haven't quite had the time to do another one of my history times, but I have random thoughts in my head and thought some might be enjoyable for you!

• I haven't noticed until tonight how many stars you can't see.....that may be because this is the first time there hasn't been clouds :P
• I was able to see on my way home yesterday......at 5:45PM!!!!   It was grayness, but the sun was still near up!
• either Sweden has a horrible crime rate on hubcaps, or they don't have them
• The word "slut" in Swedish means the end, or final, this makes for some interesting signs

• My Aunt also sent me some interesting wording that are on signs.  But trust me, English isn't quite as bad as you think.

With my Swedish, I am also trying to learn some Polish.....yeah--I just ran into the grammar minefield that is Polish.  I guess there are 7 different endings to put on, and I asked my friend Adam how to tell which one you use in each case:

no, probably there is a rule that all people use, but nobody really knows how to formulate it you know, some subliminal stuff

then I asked why not these other endings

man, I have no idea... that's the way things are

Argggg!!!  This is going to be a road to even more insanity!
But I'm still better than a month ago!--In both Polish and Swedish!

In other news:

 I went to the City Hall of Jönköping last Wednesday and learned all about the area and got free food!  Unfortunately I kept getting questions about US politics.  That is not my cup of tea.


I've also been doing a lot of Ice skating, either by myself or with Emily.  The rental of the ice skates is free and to use the rink is free.......hhmmmm, very hard decision here ;P
The rink we go to is near where Emily lives {in what I would call a sub-town} Råslätt.

I felt really dirty wearing these, especially since I had them on the day of our hockey games.  But they are the pair that fits best {but not very sharp}.

• They were picking up the little rocks today!  I guess they figure no more snow :(........maybe it was that the outside was near 45 today.....maybe......
• Sweden thinks it can tell me how to use the toilet.  What's up guys?

I said this was completely random!  Things come into my head and so a wrote them here, just because.  There probably won't be anymore like this one, this is mostly because my brain hurts right now and I thought I could give you some enjoyment :D.  God kväll!!

My brain really doesn't feel like working too much tonight, so I didn't do anymore history research.  So I am going to put some pictures up that I've taken from around town and comment on them!

* NOTE from last one, I mentioned the Native Americans also because I am part Native American!  From both the Susquehanna and Mohawk tribes.  Of the Mohawks, in the Turtle Clan that St. Kateri Tekakwitha is associated with, so I could be related to a Saint!!

Sweden has a law where all strong alcohols can not be sold outside of these government run stores [except in restaurants and bars].  Thus the government controls the price of alcohol.  Which probably makes most people sad, I went to one once, while in Kiruna, and got a non-alcoholic drink ("special Swedish Christmas/winter drink")--which was pretty cheap, success, I know ;P

This is the campus of Jönköping University.  Not all the buildings are shown, there is also the communication and teaching school, health school, and a gym.  The yellow building is engineering, white is business/economics, and red the library.
